Ian Withers
Ian is the facility director of Celebration of Praise. He was educated at Mundella Grammar School in Nottingham, England. He continued
his studies at Nottingham University obtaining a BS in Mechanical Engineering and continuing and obtaining his Management - Business
diploma. Ian is a world-wide traveler as a mining engineer. Immigrated to the United States, Ian became president of F.V. Rentals before
being appointed as chief engineer of textiles at a healthcare facility in Clermont, Florida. Ian is now the full-time facility director at
Celebration of Praise overseeing all aspects of mechanical, maintenance, security, and grounds. Ian is involved in the Unity in the
Community program, as well as H.U.G.S. Ministry.
Mary Withers
Chaplain of Pastoral Care

Mary was a registered nurse and managed a Christian nursing home before her
calling to be trained and certified in Pastoral Care. She obtained certificates from Loma Linda University, Orlando Regional Healthcare
Systems, and Florida Hospital. She has served as a Chaplain / Pastoral Care Provider at Florida Hospital South in Orlando, Celebration
Healthcare in Kissimmee, and South Lake Hospital in Clermont. Mary was also president of the Lake Sumter End of Life Coalition.
Ian and Mary moved to Florida from England in June, 1994. Ian and Mary have three children - Kaye, Greg, and Christina and
three grandchildren - Ellie, Katie, and Samuel.
Pastoral Care
God's Ministry of Presence
Chaplain Mary serves Celebration of Praise as the full-time chaplain and pastoral care provider. She oversees ministries in the church such
as Hospice Care, Hospital Visitation, Nursing Home Ministry, Crossroads Grief Support, Turning Point Fellowship, Helping Hands, Crisis
Intervention, Pastoral Counseling, Prison Ministry, and Unity in the Community. She is also active in the community as Community Clergy
in nursing homes, hospital prison ministries, and Hospice as part of Unity in the Community programs on behalf of Celebration of Praise.
