At Celebration of Praise, love is an action word. God said that He loved us and He gave us His only son Jesus. Jesus said that He loved us and gave His life. The Scripture tells us that Iron sharpens Iron. In order for iron to sharpen Iron, the two must first meet.
Through a large variety of programs aimed to allow men to sharpen men; lives are being changed at Celebration of Praise. Things are moving fast and we have to move with the times by offering fun activities for men of all ages. At Celebration of Praise men are being armed with the Word of God and, as a result, they are building lasting relationships with other Mighty Men of God.
Our focus or purpose:
- Family: Men reclaiming or strengthening their role as the spiritual priest of the home receiving tools and ideas that will enable them to be the best father, husband, son, and Mighty Man of God that he could be through the Word of God and fellowship with other transparent men.
- Armor Bearer: Men learning the importance of being the pastoral armor bearer, supporting the vision and praying for our pastor and his family regularly.
- Community: Men going beyond the four walls of the church helping individuals within our community that are in need of help.
All of our activities must promote Christ, promote family, and promote diversity (young, old, and all races).
Our activities include:
Monthly Bible Study: Come join us on the last Tuesday of the month for a time of study in the Word of God. Bring a friend and make this an evening of growing in God's word. This is a great time for men to be transparent and to hear how others have defeated major problems in their life.
Just Bowling: Put them up and knock them down. It's time for the real athletes to stand up and be accounted for. Come join us for a night of all you can eat wings, two games of bowling, and fellowship.
Annual Men Revival: This year will be the first of many annual men revival. The target time is late summer, so come worship with real men as we worship a real God that solves real problems and delivers on His promises.
Special Events
Come join us for a time of fellowship and fun as we tackle the open roads breaking the old idea of bikers. We meet at the church at 8:00am the second Saturday of each month. Don't be a square! Join the circle of love. If you don't have a motorcycle, mopeds are welcome.
Family Camp Outs - Annual camp-out fun for the whole family. Come enjoy clean air, camp-fire and friends. At Celebration of Praise we understand that most meaningful changes take place in the context of relationships. This is why we give our members a large variety of activities to choose from. There is something for everyone. Including you! Come join us as we lift up Jesus and one another.
Annual Fishing Trip - Every year fishers of men come together for a deep sea fishing trip in Daytona Beach, Florida. You do not want to miss this time of fellowship, fun, and relaxation. Call the church office for dates and times of our next trip.
